Foundation Systems Hawaii is seeking MASON / STRUCTURAL CARPENTER candidates with masonry, carpentry and machine operation skills. Company offers benefits, stable 40+/HRS/WK gainful employment and opportunity for advancement including superintendent and project manager positions. Union opportunity available. Desired skill set includes:

• Construction of small/medium concrete forms
• Concrete spall repair
• Rebar cutting, bending, tying and epoxy
• Concrete placement and finishing including concrete repairs
• Use of power tools (jack hammers, concrete saws, pneumatic tools, etc.)
• Operation of heavy equipment and trucks
• Operation of drilling and grouting equipment
• Excavations
• Concrete demolition
• Setting elevations, layout, measurements
• Continuous lifting of heavy objects up to 100lbs
• Mechanical understanding of machinery and small repairs (foundation drilling experience desired, but not required)

Wages are dependent on experience.

Pay: $28–$45/hr DOE | $55–$60+ prevailing wage

Resumes, descriptions of positions held and pictures of candidates work are desired. Reliable personal transportation and valid Hawaii driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in carpentry, including concrete forming and finishing
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for construction and masonry work
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution
• Experience in renovation, roofing, and drywall installation
• Knowledge of hardscape, rebar installation, and construction estimating
• Valid driver's license and mechanical aptitude for heavy equipment operation
