Description
WORKING FOREMAN
Luxury Residential Remodeling • Denver Metro Area, Colorado
A luxury remodeling company is hiring an experienced Working Foreman for one high-end residential remodel in the Denver metro area, with an expected 6–7 month timeline from frame through final closeout. This is a hands-on field-leadership role built around two commitments: quality of work and quality of client experience.
The position begins as a 90-day paid trial with formal evaluations at 30, 60, and 90 days, and potential to carry the project through completion. The role is roughly 15% supervision & coordination / 85% hands-on skilled carpentry.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead daily field coordination — open/secure the site, sequence trades, deliveries, and inspections, and keep the project moving with minimal disruption to the homeowner.
- Perform skilled carpentry: framing, trim/finish, window & door installs, drywall, siding, brick, hardscape/landscape, plus precision and problem-solving work that sets the standard for subs.
- Own quality control — quality walks, punch lists for all trades, and code/inspection compliance with Denver/Colorado building departments.
- Serve as the calm, professional daily field contact for homeowners; document requests and route pricing, scope, and schedule decisions through the Project Manager.
- Maintain daily logs, photo/video documentation, and project-management software updates (CoConstruct or assigned platform).
- Enforce OSHA-consistent safety and protect client property (dust containment, floor protection, secure storage).
- 10+ years verifiable residential construction/remodeling experience, with proven high-end custom work in occupied homes.
- Basic knowledge of Denver/metro codes, permitting, and inspections; able to read plans, specs, and construction documents.
- Proficient in skilled carpentry and accurate field layout/math; safe with hand and power tools.
- Comfortable with construction-management software, MS Office, and mobile/digital tools.
- High emotional intelligence, dependable, coachable, and a team-first mindset — calm under pressure and clear in communication.
- Pay: $25–$30/hour (full-time equivalent, ~40 hrs/week), paid twice monthly, Net 15 from invoice.
- Schedule: Generally Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Side work is permitted during scheduling gaps if it doesn’t affect the project.
- Field authority: May direct minor field changes up to $200 per occurrence (documented, no scope/design/schedule impact); all larger or client-facing changes route through the Project Manager.
- Your own basic hand and power carpentry tools.
- Your own reliable truck/vehicle (fuel, insurance, maintenance, licensing). Company reimburses project-related mileage at the IRS rate — commute not included; specialty equipment provided by Company.
