Skilled Construction Worker – Residential Renovations

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and skilled Construction Worker to join our team. This position will be actively involved in a variety of residential renovation projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, and full interior renovations.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in multiple areas of residential construction and remodeling and is comfortable performing a variety of tasks from demolition through finish work.

Your experience and workmanship will help ensure our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, works well with a team, and is willing to take on different responsibilities as needed throughout each project.

Skills & Responsibilities

Safely and effectively operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
Perform demolition and preparation work
Drywall installation and repair
Painting and preparation
Trim and finish carpentry
Tile work
Interior door installation
General carpentry and renovation work
Perform heavy lifting and other physically demanding construction tasks
Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and organization
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and company procedures
Properly handle and care for company tools and equipment
Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and condition of company vehicles, tools, and equipment
Perform additional construction and renovation tasks as required based on the needs of each project
Qualifications
Proven construction and residential renovation experience required
Solid understanding of multiple aspects of residential construction and remodeling
Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation
Skilled in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and other construction machinery
Ability to perform multiple types of renovation work rather than being limited to one specific trade
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions
Dependable, punctual, responsible, and able to work well as part of a team
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Responsible handling of company vehicles, tools, materials, and equipment

Experience with kitchen and bathroom renovations and general interior remodeling is strongly preferred.
