Construction Laborer- JOIN OUR TEAM

B&J Excavating is seeking a highly motivated experienced Construction Laborer. B&J Excavating is a site development company performing all phases of site development. Candidates should have prior experience working for a site work construction company.

Responsibilities:

• Works with and assists the crew in digging ditches and trenches
• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standers
• Align and position pipes to prepare them for placement
• Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers
• Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using cement or glue
• Cover pipes with earth or other materials
• Cut pipes to required lengths
• Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools
• Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools
• Install and repair sanitary and storm, water, sewer structures and pipe systems
• Perform other tasks as required by management

Candidates should possess the following:

• Highly Motivated
• Well Organized
• Experience working for a site contractor in the past
• Must have driver’s license and transportation
