Construction sales and rental company is looking for a Construction Laser Repair Tech Apprentice, along with other operational duties. This is where you will develop essential skills in maintaining and repairing advanced laser measurement and alignment equipment used in construction projects. This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience, mentorship from industry experts, and the opportunity to grow into a skilled technician. Your role will be vital in ensuring precision and safety on construction sites by keeping laser tools operating at peak performance.

Responsibilities

Assist senior technician in diagnosing and repairing laser measurement and alignment equipment used in construction settings
Learn to operate testing devices such as ohmmeters to evaluate electrical components and circuits within laser tools
Support calibration procedures to ensure laser equipment meets accuracy standards
Conduct routine inspections of laser tools, identifying potential issues before they impact project timelines
Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance logs
Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair and maintenance tasks to promote a safe work environment
You will also be responsible shipping and receiving, along with loading and unloading trucks.
Skills

Basic understanding of electrical testing tools, including ohmmeters, for troubleshooting purposes
