Construction Pipe Fitter

We are a well-established and expanding Orange County based environmental construction company with a focus on earthmoving and remediation systems installation projects. As a Construction Pipe Fitter, you will be a part of a team tasked with delivering a wide range of varied and challenging projects.

Applicants should be familiar with using hand tools, spotting, potholing, trenchwork, underground utilities, ability to read and understand project drawings, and any other relevant tasks. Experience in environmental/remediation system is a plus. This is a growth opportunity.

Desired Skills and Experience:
*Accurate pipe measurement and installation of various types of piping.
*Verify proper installation and perform quality control.
*Ability to communicate clearly to all team members.
*Ensure work areas are in safe condition prior to work.
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
*Understanding the environmental aspect of operations and working in environments where impacted soils and/or chemicals of concern may be present.
*Perform other field duties as required.
*Proficient in use of hand & power tools.

Requirements:
*Hands-on construction experience.
*Experience working with various piping materials of varying diameters.
*Understanding the use of leveling and measurement devices.
*Understanding of Health and Safety criteria, especially in an Environmental setting.
*Be able to read, take verbal direction and understand instructions in English.
*Ability to work extended hours as required.
*Able to pass background check and drug test and hold a valid driving license.
*Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate hand tools above head height.
*Able to safely perform labor intensive tasks throughout a busy day.
*Hazwoper 40hr certification or current 8hr Refresher required to perform day-to-day activities. If no Haz 40 at time of interview, the successful applicant can take the training for this certification.
