Description

Construction Project Manager

American Restoration is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team.

We are a full-service restoration, reconstruction, remodeling, and roofing company serving the Denver Metro area and foothill communities. We are looking for someone who understands construction, can manage multiple active projects at once, and is comfortable working independently.

This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who is well-versed in the construction industry and capable of managing projects from start to finish while maintaining schedules, budgets, quality, and customer communication.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will oversee a variety of residential and commercial construction projects, including:

Residential repairs and reconstruction

Remodeling projects
Roofing projects
Commercial tenant finishes and build-outs
Insurance-related reconstruction projects
Coordination of subcontractors and vendors
Material ordering and scheduling
Jobsite inspections and quality control
Customer communication
Scheduling and project coordination
Tracking job progress, costs, and completion timelines
Managing multiple projects at various stages simultaneously
Managing the budget for each assigned project
Reviewing job profitability throughout the life of the project
Completing projects within the approved budget while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction
Managing change orders, additional work, and unforeseen conditions appropriately so costs are documented and accounted for

We typically have approximately 15 active projects in progress at any given time, so organization, time management, and financial awareness are extremely important.

What We Are Looking For

The right candidate should have:

Minimum 5 years of construction experience preferred

Previous construction project management experience
Strong construction knowledge and hands-on understanding of the building process
Experience with residential repairs, remodeling, and roofing
Experience with insurance-related reconstruction preferred
Experience managing construction budgets and job costs
Strong understanding of project profitability and cost control
Ability to manage multiple active projects at the same time
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication skills with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and coworkers
Strong computer skills and ability to learn construction management software
Reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
Strong problem-solving skills
Dependability, honesty, and professionalism
A self-motivated, self-starting personality

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of their projects, stay ahead of problems, manage their budgets, communicate well, and keep jobs moving.

Having established relationships with reliable subcontractors is a plus, but it is not required. We have an established group of subcontractors and vendors that we currently work with.

Compensation

Compensation will be discussed individually and will be based on experience, construction knowledge, capabilities, and overall fit for the position.

Additional compensation and performance incentives may also be discussed during the interview process.

About Us

American Restoration has been serving Colorado since 1996. We provide emergency restoration services, reconstruction, remodeling, commercial construction, and full-service roofing.

We are a smaller company where each team member plays an important role. We are looking for someone who wants responsibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow with the company.

If you are experienced in construction, highly organized, financially disciplined, reliable, and capable of running multiple projects without constant supervision, we would like to talk with you.
