Part-Time Field Operations Support | Residential Construction | Truckee/North Lake Tahoe
Eagle Bear Construction is a residential renovation and remodel contractor based in the Truckee/North Lake Tahoe area looking for an experienced Part-Time Field Operations Support to work alongside our superintendent with day-to-day field operations. This is primarily a boots-on-the-ground role supporting our lead superintendent — not a replacement, but a right-hand in the field. It has the potential to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate.
This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who has been around construction, knows how to manage a job site, and can represent the company professionally with clients.
What you'll be doing:

Daily on-site presence working alongside the superintendent with field operations and crew management
Client communication and relationship management on active job sites
Subcontractor coordination and scheduling
Keeping projects on schedule and flagging issues before they become problems
Attending client meetings and walkthroughs, following up with notes and action items
Proactive material planning and coordination — anticipating crew needs and ensuring materials are on site before they're needed
Managing material deliveries and daily supply runs so the superintendent and foreman can stay focused on the work
Maintaining and updating job site binders with current plans and specs
Punch list management and project closeout support
Permit submittal support as needed (Placer County)
Light photo documentation of job sites

What we're looking for:

Minimum 5 years of construction experience — residential remodel/renovation preferred
College degree preferred but not required — experience and track record matter most
Comfortable on a job site and able to make decisions in the field
Strong communication skills with both crews and clients
Highly organized and proactive — someone who solves problems before they become problems
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Familiarity with the Truckee/Tahoe area a plus

Compensation & Schedule:

Part-time to start with potential to grow full-time
$35–$45/hr DOE
Flexible schedule based on project needs
