Construction Punch-Out / Handyman – Full-Time – Start ASAP

Minneapolis Decks is looking for a reliable, well-rounded individual to handle punch-out work, small projects, and maintenance on our completed and nearly completed jobs.

This is a great position for someone who has experience in construction or handyman work and is comfortable working independently. Most days you will be working on your own and traveling between jobsites throughout the Twin Cities metro.

Typical work may include:

Installing missing or replacement railing sections

Replacing or installing decking boards
Deck and exterior trim work
Fascia and miscellaneous carpentry
Small painting and staining projects
Caulking and touch-up work
Minor deck repairs and maintenance
Small landscaping and yard repairs
Jobsite cleanup and final punch-list items
Warranty/service work
Miscellaneous small projects as needed

We are looking for someone who is a problem solver and can be given a list of items that need to be completed and take care of them without constant supervision.

Ideal candidate:

Construction, carpentry, maintenance, or handyman experience

Comfortable using power and hand tools
Able to work alone and manage your day
Detail-oriented and takes pride in finishing work correctly
Reliable and shows up when scheduled
Able to communicate with homeowners professionally
Comfortable doing a variety of different tasks rather than the same thing every day
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

This is not strictly a deck-building position. We need someone versatile who doesn't mind bouncing between carpentry, repairs, painting, landscaping, cleanup, and whatever else is needed to get a project 100% finished.

Work is available immediately.

Pay will depend on experience and ability.
