Construction Superintendent

Location: Las Vegas, NV 89118

Pay Rate: $31-$38/hr DOE

Shift: Day Shift, Full Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day field operations of ground-up commercial construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive commercial construction experience who can effectively coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, and serve as the primary point of contact on the jobsite.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily field operations for ground-up commercial construction projects from site preparation through project completion.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.

Develop and maintain project schedules while ensuring milestones are met.

Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.

Conduct daily jobsite meetings, safety briefings, and progress updates.

Ensure all work complies with project specifications, local building codes, and OSHA safety regulations.

Coordinate inspections and maintain positive relationships with inspectors and project stakeholders.

Monitor quality control and promptly address field issues to minimize delays.

Review subcontractor work for quality and compliance.

Coordinate material deliveries and equipment to support project schedules.

Prepare daily reports, maintain jobsite documentation, and communicate project status to the Project Manager.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, Lead Superintendent, or Senior Foreman on commercial construction projects.

Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects from start to finish.

Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and field coordination.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.

Proven experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating project activities.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software is preferred.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

OSHA 30 Certification

Experience with tilt-up, steel frame, or concrete commercial construction

Experience coordinating MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) trades

First Aid/CPR certification

Ability to manage multiple phases of construction simultaneously
