Construction Superintendent / Working Superintendent

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience

About Us

We are a fast-growing General Contractor specializing in residential renovations, insurance restoration, commercial tenant improvements, and new construction. We are looking for a dependable Superintendent who can take ownership of projects, keep jobs moving, and help us deliver quality work on time.

This is not a desk job. We’re looking for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, and leading crews.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations on multiple job sites.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to company quality standards.
• Complete daily job reports with progress photos and updates.
• Schedule inspections and coordinate with local jurisdictions.
• Review plans and communicate with the Project Manager regarding job progress.
• Order materials and verify deliveries.
• Identify issues before they become problems and provide solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Perform hands-on construction work when needed to keep projects moving.

Qualifications

• Construction experience required.
• Previous superintendent, foreman, or lead carpenter experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial construction.
• Ability to read construction plans and communicate effectively with subcontractors.
• Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for daily reports, photos, and communication.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable.
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
