POSITION #1: CONTRACT TREE CLIMBER (Freelance)

We’re looking for an experienced contract climber who can step onto a job site and get to work with little to no supervision.

Compensation

15% to 20% of each job
(Pay is based on experience, skill level, efficiency, and the equipment you provide.)

Qualifications

• Minimum several years of professional tree climbing experience
• Must provide your own climbing gear and equipment
• Own transportation required
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to perform technical tree removals and precision pruning safely
• Understand proper rigging techniques
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the tree
• Strong work ethic
• Reliable and punctual
• Must communicate well with the crew and customers
• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and attitude
• Drug-free while working
• Safety-first mindset
• ISA Certified Arborist is a plus, but not required

We are not looking for someone who needs to be taught the basics or supervised throughout the day. We want someone who can confidently handle climbing and removals, solve problems on the job, and represent our company professionally.

POSITION #2: GROUNDSMAN / TREE CREW MEMBER

We’re looking for a dependable groundsman who enjoys working outdoors and isn’t afraid of hard work.

Compensation
$18-$20 per hour to start and up to $30 once we see how valuable you are.
30-40hours per week

Responsibilities

• Running ropes during removals and trimming
• Feeding the wood chipper safely
• Keeping brush organized and maintaining a clean work site
• Operating chainsaws safely on the ground
• Assisting the climber throughout the job
• Loading logs and brush
• Helping maintain equipment and vehicles
• Assisting with customer satisfaction by leaving every property cleaner than we found it

Preferred Qualifications

• Tree service experience
• Chainsaw experience
• Knowledge of knots and rigging
• Experience operating a mini skid steer (preferred but not required)

We’re happy to train the right person on the mini skid if you’re dependable, motivated, and willing to learn.
