Countertop Templating Technician

A high quality Stone Fabrication Company is looking for a Stone Countertop Templater for our area. We template the "Old Fashioned Way" using lauan plywood sticks and hot glue for the best possible fit and finish of our fabricated tops.
We would like to hear from you if you have countertop template, cabinet/carpentry or install experience.
Pay based on experience, personal time off and holiday pay, quarterly profit sharing.
Need a valid driver's license to drive our vehicles to various customer locations throughout the Metro Detroit Market and as needed working at Residential New Construction and remodeling projects.
Make Templates and confirm cabinets are level and stable for stone installation.
Confirm with customer all details of job including Edge type, overhangs, Splash Dimensions, and Sink Choice and Suitability.
Anticipate any installation and/or fabrication challenges.
Answer customer questions regarding the installation process.
Complete paperwork within 24 hours to feed the production and sales department.
Skills: Previous experience creating wood templates for stone countertops is a plus; Detail Oriented, Posess problem solving skills; Knowledge of measuring tools and levels; Ability to perform math functions including fractions; Strong work ethic, honest, punctual and a positive team player; Reports to Installer and Template Supervisor.
