Description
OXARC has been providing welding and industrial supplies, as well as, medical and specialty gases since 1968. OXARC is headquartered in Spokane, Washington with 23 stores in WA, ID and OR.
Job Summary: Install and maintain cryogenic pressure vessels and associated equipment in industrial, medical, specialty gas, and welding markets.
Duties Include:
- Install and perform maintenance on the cryogenic equipment.
- Maintain and update records of all cryogenic assets at Oxarc & customer locations, i.e. bulk tanks, beverage tanks, manifolds and related equipment.
- All asset records shall include dates of install, SN, model, mfg, size and any other details that may apply for tracking purposes.
- Follow up with sales after installs to assure that facility fees or rental rates are activated.
- Acquire all permits required by local and state prior to any install.
- Follow all federal, state, county and city codes related to projects.
- Follow all NFPA, OSHA.EPA, DOT, FDA regulations related to projects.
- Assist sales in cost analysis of cryogenic projects, i.e. bulk stations, piping, manifolds, upgrades, mode changes, etc.
- Maintain service vehicle inventory of common parts used for installs and repairs as needed.
- Must have or willing to obtain a Class 2 Boiler License.
- Must have or willing to obtain a DOT MED Card.
- Must be able to pass ASSE 6010, 6015, and 6040 training classes.
- Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Good mathematical skills.
- A working knowledge of safety principles and techniques.
- Ability to work independently, establish priorities and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision.
- May frequently be required to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Required to travel 50% (some overnight).
- Drug screen and background check required.
