Custom Cabinet & Millwork Builder

Description

About Us:

We are an established, growing custom cabinet and millwork company specializing in 100% custom, high-end projects for both residential and commercial applications. Our work includes kitchens, bathrooms, media walls, architectural millwork, wall paneling, fireplace surrounds, and more.

This is not a production shop. Every project is different, and our team takes pride in delivering precision craftsmanship and exceptional detail from start to finish.

All work is completed in-house—including CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, and finishing—allowing us to maintain full control over quality and execution.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Custom Cabinet Builder who takes pride in their craft and can consistently produce high-quality work with minimal supervision. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who understands cabinetry construction, materials, and workflow, and is capable of contributing at a high level in a fast-paced custom environment. Applicants with 6+ years of custom cabinet and millwork experience, the ability to read shop drawings, and experience operating woodworking machinery are strongly encouraged to submit their resume. We will be competitive with pay based on your experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and assemble custom cabinetry and millwork to specification
Interpret and execute shop drawings with precision
Work with a variety of materials including plywood, MDF, particle board, hardwoods, and veneers
Maintain consistent quality standards across all projects
Operate and work alongside shop equipment (CNC, table saws, edge banders, sanders, etc.)
Identify and troubleshoot build or material issues proactively
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines

Qualifications:

6+ years of custom cabinet building and assembly experience (preferred over general woodworking)
Strong understanding of face frame and frameless (Euro) cabinetry construction
Experience working with both stained and painted finishes
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings independently
High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
Strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability
Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
Reliable transportation
Occasional driving is required for this position. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

What We’re Looking For:

A craftsman who takes ownership of their work

Someone who values quality over shortcuts
Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing precision
A team player who communicates well and contributes to a positive shop culture
Willingness to work occasional overtime when needed to meet deadlines

Why Join Us:

Steady, long-term position with a growing company

High-end, fully custom work (no repetitive production lines)
Full in-house operation with advanced equipment
Opportunities for advancement into lead or supervisory roles
Team environment that values skill, professionalism, and craftsmanship
4/10 schedules
If you are dedicated to your craft and want to be part of a company that values both its employees and its work, we encourage you to submit your resume.

This could be the long-term opportunity you’ve been looking for.
