Custom Cabinet Shop Install Assistant

Job Summary

Join our team as a Custom Cabinet Install Assistant, where your skills will directly contribute to transforming spaces through expert cabinetry installation. In this role, you will support the lead installer by preparing materials, handling tools, and assisting with the precise installation of custom cabinets and related woodworking projects. Your attention to detail will help ensure each project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and equipment needed for each project.
Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including saws, drills, sanders, and other machinery, following safety protocols.
Support the installation of cabinets, doors, trim, and other wood construction materials in residential settings.
Perform heavy lifting of cabinetry components and materials safely to avoid injury or damage.
Aid in the installation of fixtures such as moldings, baseboards, cabinet doors and drawers
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris regularly; adhere to power tool safety standards at all times.
Requirements
Previous cabinet installation experience or familiarity with construction is preferred
Hands-on experience with carpentry, woodworking, or residential projects is highly desirable.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately to support precise installations.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and framing tasks; knowledge of woodworking machines is a plus.
Experience working on construction sites is preferred
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing; ability to work safely with power tools and construction materials.
Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety procedures like power tool safety protocols.
Valid driver’s license
Must be able to work Monday -Friday 40+ hours starting at 6:00 am until finished for the day (Overtime available)
