Custom Construction Superintendent

Kirkland Based Construction company is seeking experienced Residential/Custom Home Superintendent’s to oversee field operations on our custom homes. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented self-starter with a background in supervision of high-end custom home construction and remodeling. We are looking for forward thinking collaborative people to join our team!

Superintendent Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and oversee all aspects of construction, including site improvements and adherence to the budget, schedule and specifications.
  • Create and follow a complete construction schedule
  • Maintain a clean and safe work site that follows all current WISHA and OSHA regulations and standards, as well as our own.
  • Effectively communicate with subcontractors, owners, inspectors and our office staff.
  • Review plans and specifications and make corrections and/or suggestions (if any) prior to construction.
  • Follow and adhere to all applicable building codes, manufacturer’s specifications, with an attention to detail and high-quality standards, systems and procedures.
  • Be proficient in site work, foundation installation, drainage, framing, building codes, inspection procedures and utility work within local jurisdictions.
  • Maintain daily logs & quality control during construction phases
-Work with Accounting and Project Manager on monthly client invoicing

Qualifications:

  • Experience with site work, utilities and foundation construction is required
  • Budget and job cost management skills.
  • Must be able to create and maintain a construction schedule.
  • Be a team player and someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities.
  • Pro-active problem solver and self-motivated. Must be professional and passionate about your work.
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, good driving record and reliable transportation
