Custom Furniture Shop Help

Custom furniture manufacturing business looking for help with wood shop activities and installs. Opportunity to learn more advanced woodworking skills and be paid higher wage as demonstrable skillset expands.

compensation: $17-$22 DOE. Paid holidays after 60 days.
employment type: full or part time, applicant’s choice.
**full-time schedule: Mon-Fri. 8am-430pm. 2-3 shifts per month will be 7am-530pm.
or
**part-time schedule: 2-3 weekdays per week. 8am-430pm. 2-3 shifts per month will be 7am-530pm.

MUST HAVE:

• Ability to pass online forklift safety course provided by employer in first month of employment
• Ability to lift 75 pounds
• Able to accurately read a tape measure and make cuts to 1/32"
• Able to identify common wood species
• Ability to safely operate table saw (preferably sliding saw), miter saw, bandsaw, planer and jointer with 1/32" accuracy
• Ability to read and write English
• Reasonable transportation plan to arrive at work on time

ADDITIONAL DESIREABLE SKILLS:

• Experience assembling cabinetry or furniture.
• Experience installing cabinet doors and drawers.
• Experience applying furniture finishes with spray equipment.
