Data Cabling Technician

Cable Technician Duties:

• Pulling and terminating CAT 6 and Fiber Optic Cabling
• Installing IT Equipment as needed (Hardware Only)

Cable Technician Requirements:

• Must Pass Drug Screen, State/Federal Background check and acquire State of Texas Camera Installer License
• Recent experience performing low voltage / structured cabling installations in a commercial setting
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards
• Rack and stack work, closet work, putting together server racks, patch panels
• Fiber experience including Corning Unicam Terminations, SC and LC Connectors, and Splicing is a huge plus
• Basic telecom tools including punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill etc.

• Steel Toed Boots

Compensation:

• Competitive starting pay depending on experience
• Guarantee 40 hour pay with OT after 40 worked hours. Paid Bi-weekly!
