Deck Builder Apprentice – Learn a Trade, Get Paid While You Do It

Northern Virginia- Full-time | $18-27/hr. to start depending on experience

Like working with your hands? Want a skill that’ll pay off for the rest of your life? We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking apprentice to join our deck-building crew. No experience needed. We’ll teach you everything.

What you’ll do

Help build custom decks, porches, railings, and stairs from the ground up
Learn to read plans, lay out footings, frame, and install decking
Work with pressure-treated lumber, composite (Trex, TimberTech, etc.), and PVC
Use and care for power tools: saws, drills, nailers, and more
Load, unload, and keep job sites clean and safe

What we’re looking for

Shows up on time, every time

Willing to learn and take direction
Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
Able to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet all day
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Basic tools a plus, but not required
