Deck Builder / Jr. Carpenter - $25/hr -$30/hr

Position: Junior Deck Carpenter

Pay: $25 - $30 per hour (Depending on experience)
Location: San Diego & Orange County (Must travel to various job sites)

About the Role: We are a growing, family-owned deck business looking for an ambitious, skilled Junior Carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship. This position sits right between apprentice and master builder. You already know the basics, have a strong foundation in tool safety, and can make clean cuts. Now, you will work closely with our Lead Carpenter and owner to elevate your skills in custom framing, premium composite installs, and flawless finishing work. We value precision, a willingness to take direction, and a "get it done right the first time" attitude.

Requirements

Proven Foundation: 1 to 2 years of professional carpentry or framing experience.
Tools & Transportation: Reliable vehicle for commuting between job sites and a solid set of standard personal carpentry tools.
Technical Skills: Confident operating miter saws and circular saws. Ability to make accurate, repeatable cuts and assist with framing layout under minimal supervision.
Reliability: Punctual, professional, and possesses a valid Driver’s License.
Legal: Must be authorized to work legally in the U.S. with verifiable documentation for payroll.
Physicality: Comfortable working in outdoor conditions and performing heavy lifting (50+ lbs) as needed.
