Decorative Lighting Technician

A globally recognized lighting company is seeking an experienced Decorative Lighting Technician to build high-end lighting fixtures with speed, accuracy, and consistency.

This is a hands-on production role for someone who already has strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills and understands how finished products go together.

You should be comfortable looking at components, hardware, wiring, and a technical drawing and understanding how the fixture needs to be built. You work quickly because you are experienced, not because you rush. You know how to sequence a build efficiently, recognize when something is wrong, and correct issues before they become rework.

This is not an entry-level position.

We are looking for someone with prior professional experience in lighting fixture assembly, electromechanical assembly, electrical fixture work, technical installation, equipment assembly, product manufacturing, or another closely related hands-on technical role.

Mechanically intuitive

Comfortable with basic electrical wiring

Highly proficient with hand tools

Able to read drawings and build instructions

Fast and deliberate with their hands

Accurate and consistent

Able to troubleshoot fit, alignment, hardware, and connection issues independently

Comfortable handling high-quality finished components

Organized and efficient at the workstation

Able to produce repeatable work at a strong production pace

Success in this role means building fixtures correctly the first time, at production speed, without sacrificing fit, finish, function, or quality.
