Dedicated & Experienced Arborist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Arborist must have at least 2 years experience to apply, no others will be considered. Pay will be based on experience.

Responsibilities

Performs all Arborist Climber tasks safely, operates company equipment such as our aerial lift, bucket trucks, skid steers, and stump grinders
Performs all Grounds crew tasks safely
Interprets Work Orders as drafted by Sales Managers and lead a crew to perform all technical aspects of a project
Provides our clients with exceptional customer service and clear communication, including introduction, and the end of project walk-thru; when client is not onsite.
Completes site specific safety plans on all projects ensuring a safe and efficient work environment, where all crew members understand the plan and know their role.
Follow OSHA and ANSI safety standards, wear necessary PPE & ensure anyone entering jobsite wears proper PPE including all crew members
Ensure projects are completed as outlined in the work order and to the customer’s satisfaction; sites are left cleaner than when we arrived and moved items are returned to their original locations
Participate Crew Leader meetings and Safety Meetings
Report all equipment / truck / tool mishaps to our mechanic team for fixes
Requirements
Two years or more experience working as a Trimmer/Climber, ISA Certification a plus, or to be able to past the test in 12 months.
Knowledge of trees including identification, growth habits and correct arboriculture techniques for the trimming, pruning, repairing, maintaining and removing.
Experience in tree climbing, knot tying and PPE
Ability to perform physical labor such as lifting a minimum of 50 lbs. to shoulder height or more.
Capable of operating two-handed equipment and have the physical ability to endure extreme climate variances.
Have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, CDL a plus
Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR cards
Pass a pre-employment drug test and job duty skills tests.
