Role Overview

Detail shop apprentices assist in vehicle exterior and interior cleaning, polishing, and protection. They prepare vehicles for customer delivery by removing dirt, grime, and imperfections, and applying protective coatings to preserve value and appearance.

Key Responsibilities

Exterior cleaning and polishing:
Interior detailing: Vacuum, clean, and treat upholstery, carpets, and dashboards.

Paint correction: Use compounds and tools to remove imperfections and restore shine.

Tool and equipment use: Operate buffers, polishers, and other detailing tools.

Follow instructions: Work according to detailed cleaning plans and customer specifications.

Maintain cleanliness: Keep work areas and vehicles spotless.

Essential Skills
