Diesel Mechanic And Technician

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to perform repairs ranging from routine maintenance to complete component overhauls on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air system issues on heavy-duty diesel trucks.
Utilize manufacturer and aftermarket diagnostic computers/software to accurately identify and troubleshoot faults.
Read, interpret, and apply OEM wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, service manuals, and technical documentation.
Rebuild and repair major truck components, including engines, transmissions, differentials, clutches, and rear ends.
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
Conduct electrical diagnostics and repair using proper testing procedures and equipment.
Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair findings with management and customers.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of heavy diesel mechanic experience (preferred).
Proficiency using diagnostic computers and electronic troubleshooting software.
Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and OEM service information.
Strong knowledge of rebuilding major diesel truck components, including engines, differentials, and other drivetrain systems.
Proven ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Experience with preventative maintenance and DOT inspections is a plus.
Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a shop environment.
