Pay: $34–$40/HR, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 10:00 AM-6:00 PM
Additional Schedule: Saturdays as needed | On-call as needed

Greasecycle is hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of vacuum trucks, tanker trucks, and other heavy-duty commercial equipment.
If you're an experienced diesel mechanic who can troubleshoot problems, work independently, and isn't afraid to get dirty, this could be a great fit.
WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
Our fleet includes medium- and heavy-duty commercial diesel trucks used to collect and transport used cooking oil, fats, and grease.
You'll work on:
- Vacuum trucks
- Tanker trucks
- Diesel engines
- PTO systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Vacuum pumps and blowers
- Electrical systems
- DEF and DPF aftertreatment systems
- Other fleet and heavy-duty equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair medium- and heavy-duty diesel trucks
- Perform repairs and maintenance on vacuum and tanker trucks
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PTO-related issues
- Diagnose and repair DEF, DPF, and emissions aftertreatment systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and annual DOT inspections
- Identify equipment problems before they become larger repairs
- Handle both major diagnostic repairs and routine service work
- Perform roadside and mobile repairs when needed
- Shuttle trucks between company locations, yards, and repair shops as needed
- Keep accurate maintenance and repair records
- Communicate with the Fleet Manager regarding repairs, parts, maintenance schedules, and equipment needs
- Keep the shop, tools, and work areas organized and safe
- 3+ years of diesel mechanic, heavy-duty truck, or heavy equipment repair experience
- Strong diesel diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Strong experience with hydraulics and PTO-driven equipment
- Ability to diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical problems
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple repairs
- Dependable and detail-oriented
- Strong safety mindset
- Valid Class B CDL required
- Class A CDL preferred
