Diesel Plant Mechanic / Diesel Technician

About Us

SUPER READY MIX is looking for an experienced and dependable Diesel Plant Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered equipment and plant machinery used in the construction and concrete industry.

Job Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel engines.
Perform preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Repair and maintain heavy equipment.
Inspect equipment to ensure safe operation.
Maintain accurate maintenance records.
Work independently while meeting company safety standards.

Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following:

Diesel engines
Drilling equipment
Vacuum systems
Water pumps
Mixing systems
Vermeer equipment
Concrete plant equipment
Hydraulic systems
Pneumatic systems
Electrical diagnostics
Welding (preferred but not required)

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of diesel mechanic experience (preferred).
Experience working on heavy equipment.
Ability to diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Own tools are preferred.
Reliable and punctual.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Language

English preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Compensation

Competitive Pay (DOE) + Overtime Available + Full-Time Position
