Ryder is hiring an experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technicianin City, Ste — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a Technician career you can feel good about.

• Hourly Pay: $29.50
• Certificion Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certificion Obtained up to $700
• Quarterly Bonus: Ryder Pays you up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year
• Schedule: Tuesday through Surday
• Hours: Second Shift 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Vocional or Technical Certificion in vehicle maintenance and repair services preferred
• Must have or meet federal PM certificion requirements through any combinion of classroom training or work experience totaling 1 year
• One (1) year or more mechanical experience working offsite customer locions preferred
• Must have minimum tools required to perform their job duties as outlined in Ryder's Maintenance policy 2.02
• Pass a Ryder drug test and previous employer's for the past 3 years, DOT physical, Ryder road test, pass a Ryder Background check and Motor vehicle check including Drug and Alcohol verificion from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Able to take home assigned mobile service truck as applicable and secure vehicle and contents preferred
• Must be able to drive Ryder vehicles
• Ability to understand and adhere to Company policies in all areas
• Proven hands-on mechanic, customer service, and account management skills
• Ability to complete repair orders with the Company established systems
• Demonstres customer service skills. Strong relionship management skills
• Strong verbal and written communicion skills
• Ability to cree and maintain professional relionships within all levels of the organizion (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Ability to prioritize workload
• Flexibility to opere and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter and self-sufficient approach
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up practices
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Valid NonCommercial Driver License CLASS E, Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A and/or Ste driver's license as required
• Preventive Maintenance (PM230&PM298) within 90 Days
• Other Brakes-Air (BA220&BA298) within 90 Days
• Other Brake mechanics/inspectors FMCS 396.25
• Other Hydraulic Brake (BH220&BH298) where approprie within 90 Days
• Other Tire & Wheel TW220 within 90 Days
• Other CF609 & A/C trained and qualified (AC220&AC298) within 180 Days
• Other Btery Charge and Check, Warranty
• Other HD electrical - DR208 within 90 Days
• Other Svc Island Support SBTIII trained (SBT220) and SBT Phase 2 within 180 Days
• Other OEM on-line engine courses (minimum 2)
