Director of Facilities

Seeking a highly motivated and thoughtful Director of Facilities. Commercial Real Estate Assets, privately held. Retail, Restaurants, Office and Industrial Users. Large non profit, government and educational tenants as well as independent and national retailers and restaurants.

Urban, Suburban and Highway assets. some in excellent condition, some with upside for redevelopment, re-postioning and others with facade and other enhancements in the design stages. Ability to work hands on required, tighten door closures, replace hardware, understand the difference between a roof leak and clogged HVAC condensate line.

Schedule elevator, fire and life safety and HVAC inspections, maintain records. Create property checklists and visitation schedules. Evaluate sub-contractors. Review and compare proposals. Inspect large project work done by others, paving, elevator modernizations, roof repairs and replacements. Run small tenant improvement projects.
