DJ

Currently looking to add experienced private event DJs to our team. We’re a boutique Los Angeles based DJ company, servicing upscale private events, weddings, and parties. If you are an experienced open-format DJ, are comfortable talking with people and saying a few phrases on a mic, and are looking to work in the private event industry, you could be a great fit.

Training Pay Rate: $150 - $200 Per Event Depending on scope and labor
DJ Pay Rate: $700 - $1200 Per Event Starting depending on experience and scope of event

YOU MUST:
-Be a competent and capable open-format DJ (able to mix all genre's of music)
-Be located within an hour of Los Angeles or Orange County
-Have a vehicle capable of transporting some equipment ie. small suv, truck (smaller vehicles will not work)
-Be punctual and timely, you are never late
-Capable of upholding a professional demeanor during events
-Be willing to typically work weekends for events

Training Responsibilities Include:
-Learning company ethos, philosophy, and approach to working events
-Setting up and tearing down of equipment (setting up speakers, running + wrapping cable)
-Comfortable taking direction
-Good responsive communication via email

DJ Responsibilities include:
-Live DJing of events
-MCing and hosting (nothing too long, typically short introductions)
-Ability to read the dance floor
-Communicates well
-Good sense of excellent customer service
-Answering emails and taking meetings during the week

It’s a plus if you:
-Have experience working in the private/wedding industry
-Own your own professional grade equipment
-Have a vast knowledge of may eras of music
-Already have experience setting up sound systems
-Already have your own equipment
