Responsibilities

• Full-service dog grooming, including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, nails, anal glands and ear cleaning
• Safely and compassionately handle dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments
• Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Communicate grooming concerns with pet parents and management
• Follow all salon safety and animal-care procedures

Qualifications

• Professional grooming experience preferred – minimum one year
• Comfortable grooming a variety of breeds and coat types
• Knowledge of safe animal handling and grooming equipment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the position
