Description
Karma Dog Training, founded in 2004, is currently working with families throughout Wiggins, Fort Morgan, and Morgan County and is seeking a kind, reliable dog lover to join our team as an independent contractor Dog Trainer / Behavior Specialist.
We use only positive-reinforcement methods and are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping dogs and their humans build calmer, more balanced relationships.
This is meaningful, hands-on work where you will make a real difference in the lives of dogs and the families who love them.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will work directly with clients in their homes throughout Wiggins, Fort Morgan, Brush, and surrounding areas, helping with:
- Puppy development and early training
- Basic obedience and communication
- Leash manners and polite behavior
- Recall and real-world reliability
- Confidence-building and behavior support
- Experience working with dogs (training, daycare, rescue, boarding, etc.)
- Strong communication and people skills
- Calm, patient, and positive demeanor
- Reliable transportation (travel required)
- Ability to work independently and manage your schedule
- Interest in positive-reinforcement training methods
