Door and Cabinet Shop Associate

We are a leading retail branch specializing in home improvement products and are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Door Assembly Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality prehung doors, both interior and exterior, and will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

-Accurately craft prehung doors, both interior and exterior, following detailed work orders to meet specific customer requirements.
-Operate various tools and equipment, including door hanging equipment, table saws, nail guns, and other essential power tools, in a safe and efficient manner.
-Exhibit a positive attitude and strong commitment to teamwork, while strictly adhering to safety guidelines and work instructions.
-Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organized work area within the door assembly section, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
-Work effectively in a non-temperature-controlled environment, adapting to varying temperature conditions.
-Regularly handle and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs, adhering to all safety procedures and ergonomic practices.

Qualifications:

-Experience in door assembly or related carpentry work is preferred.
-Proficiency in using a variety of power tools and manual tools.
-Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
-Ability to follow instructions precisely and work independently.
-Good physical condition and strength, with the ability to lift heavy objects safely.
-Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

The job is 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday. 8 am - 4:30 pm
