Door Repair Technician Wanted

We are hiring a skilled Door Repair Technician to handle residential and light commercial door service calls. You will diagnose problems, make adjustments, and complete repairs so doors close, seal, and operate correctly.

**Responsibilities**

Replace weather stripping, thresholds, sweeps, and related sealing materials
Adjust doors for proper closing, including hinges, strike plates, closers, and alignment
Remove and install interior and exterior doors, including pre-hung units when needed
Repair or replace hardware such as locks, handles, hinges, and door closers
Inspect frames, jambs, and slabs for damage and recommend the right fix
Measure openings, order or cut materials to fit, and leave the work area clean
Explain the work clearly to customers and complete simple service notes

Requirements- Hands-on experience adjusting doors so they close and latch properly
Ability to replace weather stripping and related seals on exterior doors
Experience removing and installing doors
Comfort using basic hand and power tools, including drills, levels, chisels, and saws
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Ability to lift doors and materials and work on ladders or steps as needed
Strong attention to fit, finish, and customer property

Preferred Background in carpentry, handyman work, or lock smithing
Experience with exterior entry doors, storm doors, or commercial door closers
Own basic tool set
