Driver and Set up crew

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Driver and Set-Up Crew member to join our dynamic team at Bay Area Kids Rentals based in Oakland California.

We are a high-end kids party rental company, renowned for providing exceptional experiences across the entire Bay Area. We specialize in delivering premium-quality tables, chairs, inflatables, ball pits, and more for kids' parties, ensuring every event is memorable and flawless.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery and set-up of party equipment, maintaining inventory in pristine condition, and providing outstanding customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities

Safely transport party rental equipment to and from various locations across the Bay Area.
Ensure timely deliveries and pick-ups according to the schedule.
Load and unload items with care to avoid any damage.

Set-Up and Tear-Down:

Set up tables, chairs, inflatables, ball pits, and other party equipment efficiently and accurately.
Use power tools and other necessary equipment to secure set-ups as needed.
Tear down and pack up equipment post-event, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.

Customer Interaction:

Communicate professionally and courteously with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
Address any client questions or concerns promptly and effectively.
Provide on-site support during set-up and tear-down, ensuring client satisfaction.

Inventory Management:

Cleaning and organizing equipment after events

Organizing warehouse

Regularly inspect equipment for cleanliness and functionality.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment as needed such as painting and patching.
Maintain an organized inventory, reporting any damage or loss immediately.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial vehicle operation or logistics is preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekdays, weekends and holidays.
