Driver/ Warehouse Clerk (Union position)

Summary: Combination Driver/Shipping and Receiving responsibilities in and around the Hanover, MA warehouse.

Essential Functions:

Driving Duties:

·         Full Time Driving Duties – Experience & Class B Commercial Massachusetts Driver’s License REQUIRED (CDL)

·         Ability to operate company straight Truck to deliver products to customers, suppliers, and other company sites throughout local area, state and region

·         Must have active DOT Medical Card

·         Must comply with DOT regulations including Mandatory Random Drug testing and adequate driving record

·         Must complete vehicle circle checks and pre/post inspections on every trip and complete required post trip reports

·         Responsible for loading and/or unloading of trucks

·         Ensures proper maintenance and care of trucks and care of Buckley products

·         General knowledge of State & Federal motor carrier regulations

·         Must be safety oriented and report all incidents

Shipping/Receiving duties:

·         Load & Unload Trucks 

·         Put Away and Retrieve Stock

·         Pick Orders and stage on Dock

·         Operate Forklift and Hand Trucks

·         Handle work orders

·         Provide Customer Service at Service Desk

·         Must be safety oriented 

·         Learn UPS Machine and handle orders as necessary

·         Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct cycle counts

·         Work with Office and Sales Staff

·         Ability to lift 50 – 60 pounds

·         Additional general Shipping / Receiving duties as necessary

·         Monday through Friday schedule 6:00 am-2:30 pm

Qualifications:

·         Class B Commercial Massachusetts Driver’s License (CDL)

·         DOT Medical Card

·         Ability to lift 50-60 pounds

·         Reliable, safety-minded
