Drone Pilot / Photographer – All Equipment Provided

GausHaus (GausHaus.com) is seeking a skilled FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilot and photographer to capture premium aerial imagery and immersive 3D property media across San Diego County.
We deliver next-generation real estate marketing assets using aerial drone photography and PortalCam spatial technology. Our 3D Gaussian Splat tours create photorealistic, freely explorable walkable 3D models of interiors, exteriors, and grounds — a powerful differentiator that few competitors currently offer.
What You’ll Do

Capture professional drone aerial photography and video of properties
Operate the PortalCam (handheld spatial camera) to create photorealistic 3D Gaussian Splat models
Capture complementary ground photography as needed
Deliver the captures promptly after each shoot
Travel throughout San Diego County

What We Provide

All specialized equipment — drones, cameras, and PortalCam (no personal gear investment required)
Paid training on PortalCam and our workflow (training shoots are compensated immediately)
Flexible independent contractor schedule

Compensation

Independent contractor (1099). Estimated $100+/hour (structured as 50% of each shoot fee). Higher volume and larger/premium properties increase earnings potential. No employee benefits.
Requirements

Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (required)

Reliable personal vehicle for travel across San Diego County
Strong photography and composition skills
Portfolio of drone and/or photography work preferred
Real estate photography background preferred but not required
Experience with PortalCam preferred, or strong willingness and ability to learn quickly
Professional, reliable, and ready to start ASAP
