Pay: $23.00 – $27.00 / hour (Based on experience) Location: Georgetown, TX and surrounding areas

About the Role: R.L. Hicks L.P. is seeking a skilled and reliable tradesperson capable of handling mostly commercial and residential projects from start to finish. We are looking for someone who doesn’t just "do drywall," but understands the entire process—from framing the wall to the final coat of paint.

Primary Responsibilities:

Framing: Wood and metal stud framing for interior partitions.

Drywall Hanging & Finishing: Professional-grade installation, including taping and floating to achieve smooth, paint-ready finishes (Level 4/5).

FRP Installation: Precision installation of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) panels, including adhesive application and trim work.

Professional Painting: Full-cycle painting, including prep, masking, cutting, and rolling for a clean, high-quality final product.

Site Management: Selective demolition and general support to maintain an orderly and efficient job site.

What We’re Looking For:

The "Full-Cycle" Skillset: You must be proficient in taping, floating, and painting. We need someone who can ensure the finish is seamless.

Knowledge of Materials: Familiarity with different mud types, textures, commercial wall coverings (FRP), Framing, and sheet rock.

Detail-Oriented: A commitment to craftsmanship and "doing it right the first time."

Professionalism: Dependable transportation, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a small team, also must be able to pass a background check. Many of our customers are public school systems.
