Drywall Installer/Finisher Wanted

MULTI-SKILLED CONSTRUCTION WORKER

**RA Construction GC Inc. is looking for experienced, reliable multi-skilled construction workers to join our team for ongoing residential and commercial construction projects throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.

**This is NOT an entry-level laborer position.**

We are specifically looking for someone who is experienced in **MORE THAN ONE CONSTRUCTION TRADE**.

For example, an ideal candidate may be an experienced **FRAMER*

• who can also perform 2 or 3 more trades of the following list:
• Hang and finish drywall
• Perform Level 4 and Level 5 drywall finishing/skim coating and paint
• Install interior and exterior doors and windows
• Install flooring
• Install tile
• Install cabinetry
• Perform finish carpentry and trim work
• Handle general construction repairs and punch-list work

You do **NOT** need to be an expert in every trade listed above. However, you must be highly skilled in at least one major trade and capable of performing several additional construction tasks professionally.

## WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum of several years of hands-on construction experience
• Strong experience in at least one skilled trade
• Ability to work competently in multiple trades
• Ability to read measurements and use construction tools properly
• Ability to work independently when given instructions
• Good workmanship and attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to maintain a clean and organized job site
• Able to work well with supervisors and other crew members
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to travel to different project locations throughout the Greater Los Angeles area

## WORK SCHEDULE

Typical schedule:

**Monday–Friday**
**7:00 AM – 4:00 PM**
**We are also open for business from 8:00 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays**
Approximately **8 working hours per day**

We normally provide consistent, FULL-TIME WORK for qualified employees.

## 90-DAY INTRODUCTORY / EVALUATION PERIOD

All new hires will begin with a **90-day introductory evaluation period**.

During the first 90 days, we will evaluate:

• Quality of workmanship
• Skill level and versatility
• Productivity
• Reliability and attendance
• Ability to follow instructions
• Job-site organization and cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Overall fit with RA Construction

At approximately the 90-day mark, management will conduct a performance evaluation to determine whether continued employment is appropriate and, if so, whether an adjustment to the employee's hourly rate is warranted based on demonstrated performance and skill level.

The 90-day evaluation period does not guarantee continued employment or a pay increase and does not change the at-will nature of employment.

## COMPENSATION

**$25.00 to $35 per hour during the introductory period, depending on experience and demonstrated skill level.**

Compensation may be reviewed after the 90-day evaluation based on the employee's performance, reliability, productivity, and demonstrated trade skills.

We are looking for **skilled construction people, not helpers with limited experience**.

If your primary trade is framing, drywall, taping, painting, finish carpentry, doors/windows, or another construction trade—and you are capable of doing several other trades—we want to hear from you.
