Drywall/Carpenters

On Demand Staffing is looking to hire experienced, skilled Carpenters and Drywall Finishers for our clients located in the general Jacksonville area!! Both opportunities require the ideal candidate to possess 2 to 3 years of verifiable experience. Only experienced candidates will be considered.

Carpenter:

Rough and finish carpentry experience required

Building temporary walls and coverings
Reading blueprints
Following jobsite safety protocols and OSHA standards
Constructing, installing, and repairing building frameworks, structures, and fixtures made of wood and other materials

Drywall:

Experience in drywall finishing with a solid understanding of drywall installation, mudding, taping, texturing, and repair techniques
Experience with construction workplace safety regulations and the safe operation of hand tools and power tools
Experience with metal stud framing, fixture installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, stucco application, and water damage restoration
Strong craftsmanship skills in drywall texturing and plastering
Prior experience in the restoration industry or remodeling projects
