Drywaller / Drywall Finisher – 1305 Carpentry

1305 Carpentry is looking for an experienced drywaller/drywall finisher to join our small, growing remodeling company in Madison.

We're looking for someone with at least 2 years of hands-on drywall experience who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and can work independently.

We're especially interested in someone who is comfortable taking a project from hanging through finishing, or who is motivated to continue developing their finishing skills.

- Who we're looking for -

2+ years of drywall experience
Experience hanging, taping, mudding, and/or finishing drywall
Good attention to detail and pride in your work
Able to work independently and problem-solve
Reliable and respectful of customers' homes
Comfortable communicating professionally with homeowners and our crew
Owns and can provide the majority of their own tools
Reliable transportation
Willing to learn and take direction when needed
Keeps a clean and organized jobsite

- Schedule & Pay -

Approximately 10 to 15 hours/week (can be more some weeks)
$30+/hour, depending on experience and skill level
Independent contractor / 1099
Consistent, ongoing work preferred over occasional jobs

We're a small design-build remodeling company, so the work is varied and you'll have the opportunity to work on a range of residential remodeling projects. And a few commercial jobs.
