We are a well-established restoration company specializing in water, fire, and smoke damage remediation. We are looking for a skilled, reliable Drywall Finisher & Painter to join our production team.

Position Overview

This is a full-time, hands-on role focused on high-quality drywall repair, finishing, texture matching, and painting in residential and light commercial properties. Much of the work involves post-loss restoration (water damage, fire, mold remediation), so attention to detail, speed, and clean workmanship are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Hang, tape, mud, and finish drywall (all levels of finish)

Match existing textures (orange peel, knockdown, smooth, etc.)
Prep surfaces thoroughly (sanding, priming, masking, protecting floors and finishes)
Apply interior paint, primers, and specialty coatings
Perform final touch-ups and quality control before job completion
Maintain a clean, organized job site and properly store materials/equipment
Communicate clearly with project managers and crew leads regarding progress and material needs
Follow all safety protocols and company standards
Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of professional drywall finishing and painting experience
Strong ability to match textures and produce clean, professional finishes
Experience working in occupied homes and restoration environments preferred
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders/scaffolding
Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends when needed for restoration schedules
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
