Dump Truck Drivers (CDL) (Lane County; $22-25 per hour)

Emerald Excavating, established in 1962, is a family-owned excavation company based in Eugene, OR and serving all of Lane County. We specialize in commercial and residential site prep / earthwork, septic systems, and material hauling. We are growing and have immediate openings for reliable, hard-working people.

Applicant must have Class A CDL. Prefer 2 years plus driving experience. Demonstrated competency in safe operations of 3, 4, and 5 axle dump trucks used to transport materials and construction equipment. Preferred knowledge and experience loading, binding and transporting construction equipment on 2 and 3 axle tilt bed equipment trailers.

ODOT Pre-employment drug testing, medical card required, and driver's background check required.

Compensation: $22 - $25 per Hour DOE

Additional duties and responsibilities:

• Pre-trip inspection/ post trip truck reports
• Check and maintain fluids daily
• Loading, binding and unloading construction equipment
• Heavy lifting and bending
