Are you passionate about e-bikes and looking for an opportunity to combine your mechanical skills with exceptional customer service? Our dynamic e-bike store is currently expanding, and we are in search of an E-Bike Mechanic to join our team. As part of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in not just repairing e-bikes but also in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable e-bike experience for our customers.

Primary responsibilities:

• Maintain fleet of company-owned rental e-bicycles at our main location.
• Complete safety checks and necessary bike repairs and adjustments
• Conduct repair work on customer e-bikes: Basic Maintenance, Tuning and Advanced Repairs
• Assemble new e-bikes from multiple vendors.
• Troubleshoot, advise and solve bike-related questions from customers.
• Perform test rides to validate e-bike performance and quality.

Additional responsibilities:

• Deliver top-tier customer service, ensuring customer retention and satisfaction
• Conduct e-bike rental operations, including customer check-in/out, as needed.
• Facilitate e-bike deliveries and pickups, as needed.
• Enforce all safety standards and ensure customers complete the rental and liability waiver process.
• Demonstrate the unique features and benefits of our e-bikes available for sale and rent.
• Actively drive the sales of our new electric bikes and assist with custom orders.

Requirements:

• Desire to work in a team environment committed to exceeding customer expectations and offering an exceptional sales and rental experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand at a bike repair stand for an 8 hour shift.
• Ability to use hand tools with repetitive motions, including twisting, pushing and pulling.
• Minimum 1 year bike mechanic experience.
• Knowledge of bicycle mechanical systems, maintenance, repair and assembly.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest.
• Clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and desire to learn multiple aspects of a new business in the thriving electric bike industry.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with clients and partners with courtesy and clarity.
• Positive attitude and problem solver with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work weekends as part of a regular schedule.
