Eby Construction is a custom woodworking and architectural millwork shop in Richmond, CA. We build high-quality custom cabinets, casework, and millwork for residential and commercial projects.

We are hiring a full-time edge bander operator / cabinet shop machine operator.

Experience running an edgebander is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person if they have cabinet shop, woodworking, CNC, panel processing, lumber milling, or assembly experience.

Pay is based on experience and skill level.

Primary work:

• Run and maintain a modern edgebander
• Inspect parts for quality
• Keep parts organized and moving through production
• Perform basic machine setup and cleanup
• Help with lumber milling, cabinet assembly, and general shop production when edgebander work is slow

Good fit:

• Reliable and on time
• Careful and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working around machinery
• Able to read a tape measure accurately
• Able to lift and handle cabinet parts safely
• Willing to follow shop procedures and quality standards
• Interested in woodworking, cabinets, and manufacturing

• Edgebander operation
• Lumber milling
• Cabinet assembly
• CNC router
• Wide belt sander experience
• Reading shop drawings and cutlists

This is a full-time shop position.
