Eby Construction is a custom woodworking shop in Richmond (near BART), specializing in high-end cabinetry and millwork for residential and commercial projects.

We are hiring an edgebander operator to support production of cabinet components with a focus on precision, consistency, and quality.

Role

• Set up and operate an industrial edgebander
• Read shop drawings and cutlists
• Produce clean, consistent edges (wood veneer, specialty materials)
• Monitor and adjust for quality (adhesion, alignment, finish)
• Coordinate with CNC/cut station and fabrication team
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance

Requirements

• Experience operating industrial equipment (woodworking or similar)
• Ability to read plans/shop drawings
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Reliable, efficient, and quality-focused
• Edgebander experience is a plus
