## Electrical and Plumbing Technician

**McCon Industries is hiring a dependable and experienced Electrical and Plumbing Technician for residential remodeling, repair, and installation projects throughout New York City.**

We are looking for a versatile technician who can complete basic to intermediate electrical and plumbing work safely, efficiently, and professionally. The ideal candidate has experience working in occupied homes, understands renovation environments, and takes pride in clean, code-conscious workmanship.

### Responsibilities

• Install and replace light fixtures, switches, outlets, dimmers, and ceiling fans
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues
• Run wiring and install electrical boxes for renovation projects
• Install and replace faucets, toilets, sinks, vanities, shower fixtures, and garbage disposals
• Repair minor leaks and replace damaged plumbing components
• Install supply lines, drain lines, valves, traps, and fixtures
• Assist with kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects
• Coordinate work with carpenters, tile installers, and other trades
• Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Follow company procedures and applicable safety requirements
• Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members

### Required Qualifications

• Previous residential electrical and plumbing experience
• Knowledge of common electrical and plumbing tools, materials, and installation methods
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs accurately
• Experience with kitchen and bathroom renovations preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a reliable vehicle for traveling to job sites
• Must own and maintain the tools needed to complete electrical and plumbing work
• Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and hardworking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift materials and perform physical construction work
• Appropriate licensing or certification is a plus

### Position Details

• Monday through Friday schedule
• Weekends off
• Per diem work with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position
