Electrical Apprentice / Skilled Helper (Weekend Project-Based Work)

Local C-10 Licensed Electrical Contractor looking for a reliable, hard-working assistant or apprentice for weekend residential electrical projects across South Orange County (Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Irvine, etc.).

This is an ideal role for an electrical apprentice, trade student, or skilled laborer looking to gain hands-on experience in residential upgrades, build their skill set, and earn extra money on the weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with main service panel upgrades and subpanel installs.
• Running conduit, pulling wire, and setting up EV charger circuits (Level 2).
• Installing and replacing residential outlets, switches, light fixtures, and ceiling fans.
• Job site prep, material handling, and post-job clean-up.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and ready to work on scheduled weekends.
• Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to get to job sites in South OC.
• Work Ethic: Strong attention to safety, willingness to learn, and professional attitude around homeowners.
• Tools: Basic hand tools (wire strippers, linesman pliers, screwdrivers, drill/impact driver) are a big plus.
• Prior electrical experience or enrollment in an apprenticeship program is preferred, but motivated helpers with general construction experience are welcome to apply.

• Schedule: As-needed weekends (Saturdays and/or Sundays).
