About the Role

Quantifi Consulting, an independent electrical estimating firm serving large-scale commercial and light industrial preconstruction clients, has an immediate opening for an experienced Electrical Estimating Assistant. You'll work on-site alongside a senior estimator with 16+ years of experience and $2B+ in projects estimated, supporting active bids across warehouse/distribution, hospitality, institutional, and industrial project types.

This is a hands-on production role. You'll be doing real takeoffs and estimate work on live pursuits from day one. The position is primarily on-site, though some days can be remote depending on the work.

Responsibilities

Perform quantity takeoffs from electrical drawings (lighting, gear, branch, feeders, low voltage)
Build and maintain estimates in Accubid Anywhere and Accubid Classic
Mark up, organize, and manage drawing sets in Bluebeam
Prepare and maintain Excel-based bid summaries, pricing worksheets, and scope documents
Review drawings, specifications, and addenda for scope, changes, and clarifications
Solicit and organize vendor and supplier quotes
Support bid-day assembly and final pricing under deadline
Requirements
3+ years of electrical estimating experience (commercial and/or industrial preferred)
Proficiency in Accubid Anywhere and Accubid Classic
Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Able to work on-site in the Peachtree City, GA area
Available to start immediately
Compensation

Hourly rate commensurate with experience. This is a 1099 independent contractor position — no benefits; contractor is responsible for their own taxes.
