Electrical Journeyman

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Journeyman 01 or 02 to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, focusing on residential. This role requires proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints, as well as hands-on experience with various electrical systems. The Journeyman will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical installations and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and logic controllers.
• Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards and best practices.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
• Supervise and train electrical trainees.

Experience

• Proven experience as a residential electrician journeyman
• Familiarity with reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead a job site and crew of apprentices.
• Current Idaho journeyman license a strong plus!
